Why it matters

A dirty filter is the easiest thing in your house to forget.

Most folks mean to change it every 90 days. Most folks don’t. Between spring pollen, summer dust, and the dog, a 1-inch filter in Northwest Arkansas fills up faster than you’d think.

Cleaner air

Less dust, pollen, and pet hair blowing through the vents.

A healthier home

Fewer allergy flare-ups, and less dusting on the weekends.

Protects your HVAC

A clogged filter makes the blower work harder. That shows up on the power bill and in repair costs.

Automatic service

We keep the calendar. You get a text the day before, and that’s it.

How it works

Sign up once. We handle it from there.

No app to download and no account to log into. Just a local guy with a van full of filters.

  1. STEP 1

    Tell us about your house

Fill out the form or give us a call. If you don’t know your filter size, that’s fine. We’ll measure on the first visit.

Common sizes we keep on the van

    16×20×1 16×25×1 20×20×1 20×25×1 14×25×1 20×30×1
  2. STEP 2

We text you the day before

Every three months you’ll get a heads-up with a time window. If the filter’s in a hallway or garage, you don’t even need to be home.

  3. STEP 3

    Fresh filter, dated and done

We put in the new filter, write the date on the frame, and haul the old one off. You’re billed after the visit.

Who’s coming to your house

Hi, I’m Matt Cook.

I started Filter & Flow because I kept forgetting to change my own filter. When I finally pulled it out, it was gray and bowed in the middle. I figured if I was forgetting, my neighbors probably were too.

I was born and raised in Springdale, and I still live here with my family. I’m the one who shows up at your door. Same guy, same van, every visit. If something looks wrong with your system, I’ll tell you straight and point you to a good HVAC tech. I won’t try to sell you anything.

We didn’t even know our filter was up in the hallway ceiling until Matt found it. It was black. Now I get a text, he comes by, and it’s done. Worth it for that alone.

Two labs and a cat. Matt moved us to every two months and the upstairs doesn’t smell like dog anymore.

My mom is 81 and lives by herself. I signed her up so nobody’s climbing a step stool. Matt texts me after every visit.
Dana W.Fayetteville
Showed up when he said he would, wiped his feet, wrote the date on the filter. That’s all I want.
Ron P.Lowell
Oak pollen season used to wreck me. The dust on the TV stand is way down, and I haven’t thought about a filter in a year.

Questions

Stuff people ask

Do I need to be home?

Only if the filter is inside the house. A lot of folks leave a garage code or a key in a lockbox. If you’d rather be there, just reply to the reminder text with a time that works.

I have no idea what size filter I use.

That’s most people. The size is printed on the edge of the old filter (something like 16×25×1). If you can’t find it, we’ll measure on the first visit and bring the right one from then on.

Why every three months?

That’s what most filter makers and HVAC techs recommend for a standard 1-inch pleated filter. Homes with a few pets or bad allergies sometimes do better with every two months. We can set that up too.

What kind of filter do you put in?

A standard 1-inch pleated filter, MERV 8. It catches dust, pollen, and pet dander without choking the airflow on most home systems. If you want MERV 11 or 13, or you have a thick media filter, ask and we’ll quote it.

How do I pay?

We keep a card on file and charge it after each visit, so there’s nothing to hand over at the door. You’ll get a receipt by text or email.

Is there a contract?

No. If you’re moving, going out of town, or just want to stop, send a text and we’ll take care of it.
